The Restaurants Association of Ireland will be holding their Midlands branch Autumn Roadshow on Monday, October 15 in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore,
The event is an opportunity for restaurateurs to network, meet Association Trade Partners and discuss industry issues. The Roadshow is an open invitation to all restaurants, hotels, gastro-pubs, coffee shops, Restaurant Managers, Chefs, Sommeliers and Trade Suppliers.
All members and non-members of the Restaurants Association are welcome to come along and hear what the industry experts have to say. The event runs from 9.30am to 12.30 in the afternoon.
There will be presentations on issues such as Calories on Menus, JLC & Sunday Premium Payments, Government Proposals on sick pay schemes and European legislation on UCOs and food labelling.
There will also be updates on the professional cookery apprenticeship training programme which we have applied to FÁS for funding.
There will be a presentation on public relations, and advice on how restaurants can best harness the power of social media to benefit their business.
Thyme Restaurant, Athlone, will be in attendance with Bord Bia giving a presentation on Lamb. There will also be a presentation from online bookings software Restaurant Diary.
There will be an open roundtable discussion, where restaurateurs will get to have their say about the issues facing them and how they feel they can be best represented by the association.
