THE National Learning Network Students have launchd their annual awards night which will be held in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore on Thursday, March 15 at 7.30pm.
This is a wonderful way of celebrating the hard work, commitment and dedication that the students have achieved over the past year.
A total of 85 people will be receiving certification, across a wide a selection of courses, all accredited by FETAC.
The National Learning Network based in the Tanyard Tullamore is the Training and Employment sector of the Rehab Group.
It caters for over 70 students, offering a number of vocational and rehabilitive training courses including Employer Based Training, Distance Learning, Fresh Start, Access and Transitions.
83% of the Distance Learning Group is receiving FETAC Level 5 Certification in Business Studies; this is a first time achievement for the National Learning Network.
These courses allow the students to develop skills, knowledge, confidence and resources to access employment and other options in the wider community.
The awards night will be attended by students past and present, families and friends, guests from the National Learning Network, FAS and the HSE.
The guest speaker will be local TD Marcella Corcoran Kennedy.
Following the awards ceremony there will be refreshments and music provided by DJ Colin Fahy.
