Meehan has title shot on home soil

CLARA wrestler TJ Meehan will have a shot at the Irish Whip Wrestling title when he takes to the ring in his home town on August 27.

CLARA wrestler TJ Meehan will have a shot at the Irish Whip Wrestling title when he takes to the ring in his home town on August 27.

It will be the second time the talented wrestler will have performed in front of his home crowd and he is hoping that the support he will surely receive will help him take the belt.

He is up against a very experienced in ‘The Supermodel’ and TJ will need to pull out all the stops if he is to get the win.

As well as this fight, there will be scores of other bouts on the night with the IWW Zero Gravity Champion ‘Mandrake’ also sure to be a crowd pleaser.

The event is on Saturday, August 27. Doors open at 7.30pm and the bell will ring for the first bout at 8pm.

Tickets are reasonably priced at €5 with family tickets available at €20.
