Owners asked to get their ‘Mollys’ walking

WITH the National Dog Walk just weeks away, Molly has been revealed as Ireland’s most popular name.

WITH the National Dog Walk just weeks away, Molly has been revealed as Ireland’s most popular name.

Petmania, are calling Ireland’s dogs and their owners to take part in the National Dog Walk 2011, which takes place on Easter Monday, April 25 in Tullamore.

Following a survey of data collected from over 12,000 dog owners, makes for interesting reading with the Top 10 identified as Molly, Charlie, Millie, Max, Jess, Holly, Bailey, Ruby, Daisy and Buddy.

The National Dog Walk 2011, is a 5KM sponsored dog walk taking place at 13 Petmania stores nationwide on Easter Monday. All money raised will go directly to The Carers Association, Petmania’s nominate People Charity. Fantastic prizes are up for grabs, with one year’s free dog food for the dog that raises the most money at each location, while Ireland’s Top Dog will win a fabulous 5 night break for his/her family in a dog friendly hotel worth over €1500.
