Clever cat missing from Westmeath finds his way to Offaly before brush with the law

A wandering cat missing from Westmeath managed to break for the border and find save shelter in Offaly, gardaí have said.

Tullamore gardaí found the missing cat, Jack, in Offaly after he got lost from his home in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.

The cat has now been returned to his family who live a 30-minute drive away.

His owner, Clodagh, is reportedly 'very grateful' for his return. He is having a well-deserved 'catnap' after his adventure!
