A wandering cat missing from Westmeath managed to break for the border and find save shelter in Offaly, gardaí have said.
Tullamore gardaí found the missing cat, Jack, in Offaly after he got lost from his home in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.

Jack recently went missing from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and somehow made it to Co. Offaly where he was found this week by Tullamore Gardaí.

The cat has now been returned to his family who live a 30-minute drive away.
His owner, Clodagh, is reportedly 'very grateful' for his return. He is having a well-deserved 'catnap' after his adventure!
