Offaly Students Enjoy Doodle 4 Google Event

Over 70 students from across Ireland descended on Google European HQ in Dublin this week to find out if their doodle had been selected as the overall winner of Google’s Irish Doodle 4 Google competition.

Over 70 students from across Ireland descended on Google European HQ in Dublin this week to find out if their doodle had been selected as the overall winner of Google’s Irish Doodle 4 Google competition.

Google doodler Kevin Laughlin travelled from the Google in California to announce Donegal student Annie Coyle, from St. Bernadette’s Special School in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal as the overall winner. Annie’s doodle was be seen by millions of people when it appeared on the Google Ireland homepage the 16th of April.

The regional winners attending the event were given the opportunity to take part in creative art and doodle classes with Kevin Laughlin. Each student was also presented with a framed copy of their doodle and a Google goody bag.
