GARDAÍ are investigating the circumstances surrounding a Polish man’s death in Edenderry at the weekend.
The man who was in his early 30’s did not live in the Edenderry area and he was at a party at a house in Edenderry on Sunday evening when it is believed he fell.
Paramedics were called at about 7pm. The man was rushed to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore where he was pronounced dead.
A postmortem was due be carried out yesterday (Tuesday). A Garda spokesman confirmed to the ‘Offaly Express’ that the incident was still under investigation.
