FIANNA Fails two Laois Offaly TDs have the worst record of voting in the Dail despite been clocked in at the time but none of the TDs have a 100 per cent attendance record.
Under a new expenses regime, TDs must now use key fob to clock in. Details published this week showed that Barry Cowen voted 16 times which was a 67 percent voting record. He missed 7 votes while ‘fobbed in’
Sean Fleming voted 17 times which was a 71 per cent record. He missed five votes while ‘fobbed in’.
On the Fine Gael side, Charlie Flanagan voted 20 times which was a 83 per cent record. He missed two votes while ‘fobbed in’. Marcella Corcoran Kennedy had the best record of the five TDs voting 22 times with a 92 per cent record. She missed two votes while ‘fobbed in’.
Sinn Fein’s Brian Stanley had the second best performance. He voted 21 times which was a 88 per cent record. He missed 2 votes while ‘fobbed in’.
