Previous winners at the Dunkerrin Dog Show being presented with their prizes by Alice Maher.
THE up and coming Dunkerrin Dog show is heading for its 24th year.
From humble beginnings it started at the grounds of the Church of Ireland in Dunkerrin and was organised by a committee which included Canon Arthur Minion and Reverend Janet White Spunner.
As it had grown and expanded down through the years it was necessary to relocate to a larger space in the close by Dunkerrin Community Centre.
The Dog Show is a great family day out with lots of categories to suit all dogs and great spot prizes from local sponsors.
Also on the day there will be an opportunity to purchase local homemade cakes, desserts, plants and a variety of goods.Try your luck with their raffle, auction and lots more.
This year the Dog Show will be opened by Patrick Fogarty, a local from Dunkerrin who recently had great success with his award winning play "The High King Of Ireland".
Patrick's play took first place in the 2022 P.J. O Connor Radio Drama Awards.
The Dog Show will be held on Sunday July 16th in Dunkerrin Community Centre, please come along and support Dunkerrin Church Of Ireland.
