Lorrha well represented at county Community Games event

The Lorrha contingent proudly representing their parish at the Tipperary Community Games track and field event which was held in Templemore.

THE parish of Lorrha was well represented on Sunday June 4th at the Tipperary County Community Games Track and Field event which took place in Templemore.

There were 25 children competing from the Lorrha area. The competition was of a very high standard but the children were very competitive and did everyone very proud.

Big congratulations to the five medallists who now go forward to represent Tipperary in the Munster Community Games, Elayna Heenan, Sadhbh O’Crowley, Ruby Ryan, Patrick Seman and Jack Kennedy, in Ennis on August 20th. They are all wished the very best of luck and no doubt they will give it their all. This is a huge achievement in their first year back competing in Community Games after a long absence.
