Met Eireann is forecasting a change in the weather for Ireland through Friday and the weekend with humid and showery weather on the way.
It is however set to remain very warm with temperatures set to reach highs of 25 degrees through the weekend and into next weekend.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Friday will start off fine and mostly dry with a light to moderate easterly breeze. A few morning showers will develop across parts of the south, drifting into the west later. More cloud will build later in the afternoon too. Moderate easterly winds will freshen at times in the south. Highest temperatures of 18 to 25 degrees generally, coolest in the east with an onshore breeze.
A humid and mild night on Friday night with the weather staying dry in many areas and partly cloudy with isolated showers, mainly in the west and south. Temperatures will stay in the mid-teens for much of the night, coolest in the north with lows of 11 or 12 degrees here. Easterly winds largely easing light.
According to Met Eireann, Saturday will remain generally cloudy with scattered showers moving up from the south to many parts through the morning and afternoon, reaching the north later in the evening. Some of the showers may be heavy. Hazy sunshine likely ahead of the showers. Warm with highest temperatures of around 20 to 25 degrees, depending on the cloud cover, with a light southeast airflow.
Humid and very mild with showers continuing to spread northwards, some possibly heavy on Saturday night. Showers will become isolated overnight, with some mist or fog forming. Temperatures not falling below 15 or 16 degrees for much of the night with very light southerly breezes.
According to Met Eireann, Sunday will see a mix of cloud and scattered showers but there will be some sunny spells at times too. Highest temperature of 20 to 24 degrees with little wind.

Any showers will gradually die out during the early on Sunday night as the cloud breaks up too. Long clear and dry spells for many overnight in very light winds. Staying quite mild again overnight with lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees. Possible mist or fog.
Looking ahead, Met Eireann says Monday looks set to be mixed with cloud and a few showers again, but with sunny spells at times too. Staying warm with highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees generally with a slack airflow.
