Borrisokane playground will receive a €25,000 revamp

There is good news for families in Borrisokane after money has been secured for the refurbishment of the local playground.

Councillor Michael O’Meara has welcomed the allocation of €25,000 to carry out development work including drainage, resurfacing and kerbing at the layground.

The local Councillor has been working to have this very necessary work carried out and says he is delighted to have been informed that funding is available at the recent meeting of Tipperary County Council.

“This is great news for parents and, of course, for the many children who enjoy the facilities in the Park,” Cllr. O'Meara said.
