Age Friendly Roscrea had great fun at the Roscrea St. Patrick's Day Parade last Friday
On Friday 24th March the next meeting of Age Friendly Roscrea's popular Courthouse Café will be held at 11am in the Courthouse. We will have a speech and language therapist present who will speak about how they can support people living with memory loss. Speech and language therapy will help to maintain and support memory, communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties.
Also, on Friday 24th at 2pm in the Courthouse, Michael Fortune of Folklore.ie will return for a visit.
If you have an item at home that is unusual, unique of just special to you, please feel free to bring it in and show to the group. A great afternoon of chat, both interesting and entertaining. All welcome. Contact Mary at (089) 468 2164 for any information.
Age Friendly Roscrea will hold an information session on 'Continence and how to manage it' on Tuesday 28th March at 2.00pm. Incontinence is a problem that both men and women struggle with in silence. Support can be provided through your continence nurse or various interventions. All are welcome to this event.
