Roscrea Trailblazers on a recent portion of the Greenway Walk
Last Thursday saw a great turnout for our walk around The Glenafelly Loop in the Slieve Blooms.
With some forestry clearance taking place it was decided to take a different path to avoid the fallen trees on the trail. This did not affect the great night's walking and everybody had a very enjoyable night. Well done to everyone that made the effort.
This Thursday February 2nd they are keeping it local with a walk around The Mount St Joseph prayer Loop. Grade: moderate, Time: two hours. Distance: 6km, Meeting at the Main Gate carpark at 7pm, please bring head/hand torch and Hi Viz jacket.
The next Greenway walk will be the second section of The Grand Canal Way on Sunday February 26th from Lock 12 to Sallins, 17km and a flat walk.
