Edenderry salon add scalp and wig therapies to their services

An Edenderry salon is striving to help people with a variety of conditions to get the hair solutions they desire with a new raft of hair, scalp and wig services.

Eden Glamour owner Clara Donoghue and her colleague Avril Foley have both completed hair and scalp training with Hair Contrast Ireland and are now able to offer a hair and scalp clinic for people suffering scalp conditions or hair loss.

"We have solutions for various scalp conditions and all types of hair thinning such as Alopecia, male pattern baldness and extreme thinning on top for ladies," Clara told the Offaly Express.

"We also have the addition of our bespoke Wig Therapy for people facing hair loss from chemotherapy and alopecia totalis. We are also offering hair toppers for thinning hair on top. We have a wide range of products to suit all scalp & hair loss conditions along with our bespoke Wig service."

Outlining her decision to take part in the specialist training, Clara said: "As a stylist, I have noticed over the years how common thinning hair actually is and how impactful it is on someone's confidence and unfortunately I just wasn’t educated enough to help people."

"Both myself and Avril have seen loved ones and clients go through the extremely difficult time of losing their hair from stress, medication, chemotherapy or alopecia totalis, and we are so glad we can help them through that time while helping them feel like themselves with our Bespoke Wig Therapy," she added.

Eden Glamour Hair & Scalp Clinic is HSE & Medical Card approved and Clara and her staff are more than happy to process this for their clients.

"We offer a friendly and private service with free confidential consultations. You can get in touch with us by contacting myself Clara or Avril in the salon on 0469773562," she concluded.
