A practical course on the management of anxiety, stress and worry will begin in Tullamore in November.
'Mindfulness and Positive Psychology, for Anxiety, Stress and Worry Management' will take place over three consecutive Monday mornings - November 5, November 12 and November 19 (10am-12.30pm) at Tullamore Tennis Club, Arden Road, Tullamore.
The course will focus on how to manage and reduce anxiety, stress and worry using mindfulness and psychological strategies.
The course facilitators are Imelda Ferguson and Julie O'Flaherty, two local chartered clinical psychologists in private practice who both have extensive experience working in the adult mental health field.
Imelda and Julie run the Mind Your Self Midlands positive psychology service.
The upcoming course is open to the public and will cost €120 for the three weeks. The fee includes course materials, readings lists etc. There is an early bird fee of €100 for those who pay before October 26.
