Three Good Samaritans come to aid of woman if Offaly after nasty fall
A woman in Offaly has issued a big thank you to three kind Samaritans who helped her out after she fell on a footpath in Edenderry.
Carmel Hogan suffered the fall on Tuesday when the three passers by came to her aid with one of them driving her home.
"I was very shocked to find myself on the ground, and without their kind help, I have no idea how I'd have gotten to my feet, let alone made it home," Carmel told Offaly Live.
Carmel says her injuries proved to be relatively minor but she did sustain a black eye, various bruises and needed some stitches for her wounds.
"I was so distracted, I only got the name of the lady who drove me home. She was Fidelma. But there was also another lady and a gentleman all three of them stopped to see how they could help. I would like to say a heartfelt 'Thank You' to all three. I appreciated their help in the moment. And now, on reflection, I appreciate it even more. The days of kindness and generosity live on in Edenderry, an I benefited from them on Tuesday," Carmel said.
