Compensation will be paid by man who broke referee's jaw at soccer match

A MAN has been accused of committing sexual assault in the Midlands on August 1 last year.

The 41-year-old accused appeared before Judge Patricia Cronin at Tullamore District Court.

On the application of Sandra Mahon, Offaly state solicitor, the prosecution was adjourned to July 27 next for directions from the DPP.

Legal aid was granted after the court was told the accused earned €350 per week.
