A man who gardai describe as being 'highly aggressive' was found to be in possession of a blade when he was arrested on Saturday.
Gardai attended St Francis Street in Edenderry when they received reports of a disturbance.
A 'highly aggressive' and intoxicated man was arrested under the Public Order Act. When searched by gardai, he was found to be in possession of a three inch blade pictured below.
