The early weather forecast for the National Ploughing Championships in Carlow from Met Eireann is for it to be a mix of cloudy weather with sunny spells.

The current weather forecast for the National Ploughing Championships for Tuesday is for a dry, cloudy day with sunny spells at times and temperatures reaching around 14 degrees. 

The current weather forecast for the National Ploughing Championships for Wednesday is for a similar day to Tuesday with Met Eireann more cloudy but dry weather and temperatures reaching around 15 degrees. 

The weather has played havoc with the National Ploughing Championships in recent years. In 2017, heavy rain caused flooding at the site in Tullamore while in 2018, damage was caused at the site and a day was cancelled due to high winds.
