Offaly crash victims to be remembered at country music fundraiser

A musical night of entertainment has been organised to remember and raise funds for the late father and son Vincent and Sully Rossi who tragically died in a car crash in Offaly last month.

Originally from Limerick, Vincent or 'Finch' as he was known, was raising Sully and his two other children as a single parent in Green Mill Court, Portlaoise.

The father and son were killed in the head-on collision with a lorry which happened at Scruff, Killeigh, Co Offaly at about 5 pm on Monday, May 27 last.

An online Go Fund Me has raised €29,094 for the family.

Now, a new fundraiser has been set up and it promises to be a great night of entertainment.

An all-star country music line up has been announced set to take place at the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise on July 16.

The line up includes music from TR Dallas, John Molloy, Bernie Heaney, Andy Feery, Eddie Carey and many more, all performing with a live band.

Doors open from 8pm on the night with dancing kicking off from 9pm. There will be a monster raffle on the night and admission is €15. For more information contact 0861562483/0862011244.

Tickets are available in McElwee Pharmacies Mountmellick, also Mulhalls SuperValu Portlaoise and the Midlands Park Hotel.
