The weather forecast for Ireland for the rest of the week from Met Eireann is for the weather to be mainly dry with sunny spells although there will be more showery rain.
The weather forecast for Thursday is for it to be mostly cloudy with just the odd limited bright or sunny spell. A good deal of dry weather in the east and northeast with just an isolated shower this afternoon. Showery outbreaks of rain in the west and southwest, becoming persistent in the southwest later this afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, but a degree or two cooler in the southwest under the showery rain. East to southeast breezes light to moderate in strength.
According to Met Eireann, there will be outbreaks of showery rain for a time on Thursday night in the west and southwest tonight. Elsewhere it will be largely dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Some patchy mist and isolated fog patches will develop. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in light variable or northeast breezes.

The weather forecast for Ireland for Friday is for it to be mainly dry and bright at first apart from an isolated shower. Some sunny spells will develop through the course of the afternoon and evening triggering a few scattered showers. The showers likely to be heaviest and most frequent in the west and southwest. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees. East to northeast breezes mostly light to moderate in strength. Mainly dry on Friday night, just a few scattered showers. Minimum temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in light to moderate north to northeast winds.
The weather forecast for Saturday from Met Eireann is for sunny spells and scattered showers. Overall there will be a lot of dry weather in mostly light northerly breezes. Maximum temperatures ranging from 13 degrees in the north to 18 degrees in the southwest. It will become generally dry on Saturday night with lowest temperatures of 7 or 8 degrees in light breezes.
According to Met Eireann, Sunday will start dry with sunshine. In the afternoon a few showers will develop but there will be further sunny spells as well. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees. Northwest winds will be light to moderate.
