Offaly rider leads Europe to Masters title in New York
Offaly's Darragh Kenny was in scintillating form last weekend as he helped Europe to a Riders Masters Cup title over the USA in New York.
Kenny, a former Offaly Express Sports Star of the Month winner, made a bit of history as the first Irish rider to compete for Europe in the event seen by many as the equivalent of golf's Ryder Cup.
It pits five-member teams from Europe and the USA against one another in a similar matchplay format.
Darragh was onboard Sweet Tricia and won both of his matches against American Laura Chapot on Chandon Blue to maintains Europe's complete domination of the event.
They have won all four stagings of the event.
