WATCH: Happiest calves in the world born in Tullamore
Three of the happiest calves in the world have been born on a farm in Tullamore.
The first three calves born at the Irish Farmers Journal demonstration farm in Tullamore are literally "happy out" after being turned out onto the grass earlier this week.
Farm manager Shaun Diver posted this adorable clip of the hyper offspring on Tuesday as they ran around the farm which is part of an amazing Irish Farmers Journal project.
The farm at Brackagh, Screggan, Tullamore, opened in the summer of 2017 and hosts regular open days aimed at educating farmers on all working elements of a modern farm, including finances.
The 200ac farm is set up as a mixed grazing enterprise with suckler cows and ewes.
At the time of opening, the Irish Farmers Journal said their core aim with the demo farm was to provide farmers with the information to increase the profitability of their farm business.
They said: "Tullamore Farm provides us with a new medium to transfer knowledge to farmers."
The farm is fully transparent and all performance figures and financial data will be made available to farmers. You can also follow all progress and daily events on the farm by following farm manager @shaun_diver on Twitter.
