UPDATE: Offaly road reopens after earlier collision

An Offaly road has now reopened after being closed for a period of time following a collision this afternoon. 

The Banagher to Cloghan road (R356), locally known as the Harbour Rd, has closed from late this afternoon between Banagher and the Borrisokane Rd (R438) junction at Wynne’s Cross following a collision.

Motorists were advised to take a different route but the road has now reopened to traffic.
