Offaly school receives planning permission for extension

St. Colman's National School in Cappagh, Croghan, has been granted planning permission to construct a single-storey extension.

The extension, which was given the green light this week, will consist of one new classroom, two new resource rooms and ancillary accommodation.

The works will also include alterations to the existing hedgerow boundary, the replacement upgrade of the existing effluent treatment system with new holding tanks and associated site works.

The development is likely to go ahead next year.
