Lexie, saw a homeless 16year old on her Moms birthday 2 years ago. (She was 7years old) She went and bought him a Burger King and since then has been using her time and efforts distributing foods and necessities to the homeless with funds raised in and out of her school. What an incredible young girl! Thank you Lexi! We are all so proud of you @womans_way #kidsawards18 #pharamton #YOUNGFUNDRAISERAWARD
Lexie is a pupil at Schoil Bhride, Edenderry and she does a lot of charity work for inner city helping homeless.
Lexie has been helping the homeless since she was seven and has provided thousands of items for Inner City Helping Homeless. Last year she got her school involved in her Homeless Appeal and all the children brought in warm clothes and food and toiletries.
Then for the month of December, she collected hundreds of toys, sweets and selection boxes and small toys for children in emergency accommodation for Christmas.
Despite her tender age, she is on another mission making feel good packs for the homeless which is a bag of toiletries.
