Planning sought to build 6 new houses in Offaly town

A planning application has officially been lodged with Offaly County Council for the construction of six new houses in Ferbane.

The plans submitted seek permission to build four detached and two semi-detached houses on the main street in Ferbane in the coming months.

The works would include site boundaries, a garden shed at each house, a green area, access to the public sewer system as well as a new access road to the main street.

Offaly County Council will now assess the proposals over the next few weeks before making a final decision on the development.
