The Copper Pot Still pub on High Street in Tullamore has been sold by private treaty by agents, Morrissey/Lisney.
The establishment had been on the market for over a year after closing its doors last summer but the sold sign has appeared above the door in recent weeks.
Almost forty jobs were lost when the popular pub closed in June 2017 with management claiming a receiver had been appointed due to a substantial loan on the landlord’s premises.
The pub then hit the market with the agents offering "an excellent trading pitch immediately adjacent to the commercial hub of Tullamore town."
The pub comprises a traditional style licensed premises extending to a Lounge Bar to the ground floor augmented by a former kitchen and ladies and gents toilets, together with excellent storage accommodation in the basement.
The property enjoys an excellent enclosed beer garden and smoking area with delivery and pedestrian access from the High Street. The upper floors comprise residential accommodation extending to living room, kitchen, bathroom and four bedrooms.
It has now been sold by Morrissey's Lisney, property agents specialising in licensed premises.
