As temperature rise throughout today and into tomorrow, the considerable snow which has fallen in the last few days is beginning to melt.

However Met Eireann is warning that the melting snow could bring a new set of problems in some areas.

In the updated Status Orange Weather Warning, the national forecaster warns, "Snow melt will continue to increase river-levels and may also lead to localised surface water flooding."

Scattered outbreaks of rain are also forecast for tomorrow. Read the latest Weather Forecast by clicking here
