Offaly County Council has issued advice after holding a meeting this morning with the HSE and An Garda Síochana.

As of today Offaly is at Status Yellow and the council is asking the public to abide by all weather alerts.

They have told the Offaly Express that sufficient stocks of salt are in place to grit roads as per Offaly County Council’s Winter Maintenance.
