€1,200 worth of property stolen in Offaly burglary

Gardaí are seeking the public's help after €1,250 worth of property was stolen from a premises in Clara, Co. Offaly.

A lawnmower, tools and blue drums of petrol were stolen from a large shed behind a house at Beechmount, Clara.

The incident occurred at some point between 12pm on Monday and when the thefts were discovered today, Friday, February 2 and 12pm.

Gardaí believe that the rear of the steel shed was prised open with an implement during the burglary

If anyone saw an someone or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area this week, they are urged to contact Tullamore Garda Station on (057) 932 7600.
