Two men to appear in Tullamore Court after being found with stolen diesel

The Garda Crime Task Force made the arrests

The Garda Crime Task Force set up in Laois/Offaly in the wake of a number of serious aggravated burglaries in Offaly last year has made two arrests this week.

While carrying out a patrol at around 12:45pm on Thursday afternoon, January 24, the Task Force seized a blue Audi A4 that was abandoned in the Camross area of Laois.

They arrested two men nearby in possession of a container of diesel which gardaí believe was stolen.

Both men, who are aged in their 20s and from Laois, were charged to appear before Tullamore District Court on February 15.
