After the snow, ice, sleet, hail, rain, wind and everything else that the weather has thrown at Ireland over the past week, the weather is set to improve over the weekend and into the early part of next week.
In fact Met Eireann is predicting temperatures to reach as high as 13 degrees by next Tuesday.
Today will be similar to Friday with a mix of cloud, bright spells and some scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees.
Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with some rain and drizzle developing overnight. Lowest temperatures remaining above freezing in the range of 3 to 6 degrees.
Sunday will see a major change according to Met Eireann as it will be much milder than the last week however there will be outbreaks of rain that will clear later in the day. Sunday night will be cold with a chance of frost in places.
Monday will be mainly dry, apart from a little drizzle, with a mix of cloud and some bright or sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
And the forecast for Tuesday is for temperatures to reach 13 degrees, a full 20 degrees higher than the lowest temperature recorded this week.
