Ten jobs created as newly extended Offaly supermarket reopens in time for Christmas

Newly extended Offaly supermarket reopens in time for Christmas

Offaly Ladies GAA star Sarah Cummins and representatives from Edenderry Ladies GAA officially reopened Lidl in Edenderry yesterday.

Ten new jobs were created in the locality as the store added an extension to accommodate the ever increasing number of new customers. The store, which was closed for four months to facilitate the extension, now means that Edenderry shoppers will have an enhanced shopping experience with the same great value.

Speaking at the Lidl Edenderry reopening, Store Manager, Shane Lowery said, "We are delighted to reopen our new store here in Edenderry after four months of construction. We have a fantastic customer base in the area and we are delighted to be able to offer our loyal customers a superior shopping experience in the new look store. I am also delighted to welcome 10 new recruits into the team to meet the needs of our customers as we head into a very busy festive period."
