Gardaí investigate as Christmas lights stolen in Edenderry

Investigations are ongoing

Gardaí continue their investigations after Christmas lights were stolen from a premises in Edenderry.

The theft of the lights occurred on Fr McWey Street, close to the Dunnes Stores shopping centre, last week and gardaí have confirmed that they have not yet been recovered.

No arrests have been made in the investigation so far.

The incident occurred between the hours of 9pm on Thursday night, November 16, and 9am on the Friday morning, November 17.

Fr McWey Street is home to a number of businesses and the theft of Christmas lights in the run up to Christmas has been met with serious disappointment in the area.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area during the hours specified above is asked to contact Edenderry Garda Station on 046 973 1290.
