Tullamore is set to be very busy tomorrow with the Christmas Lights being switched on, a Christmas Market and the Leinster Club Senior Hurling semi-final between Kilcormac/Killoughey and Mount Leinster Rangers all taking place.

To facilitate the festivities in the town, there will be a road closures in place.

William Street will be closed from its junction with Patrick St and Church St at Supermacs to its junction with Harbour St from 1pm to 7pm. This closure is to facilitate festive celebrations including switching on of the Christmas lights and the arrival of Santa. Santa will arrive at 5.30pm and the official switching on of the lights will be done by Chasing Abbey and Grainne Walsh.

Church St will also be closed from its junction with William Street at Supermacs to its junction with Market Place from 9am- 9pm. This closure is to facilitate the Christmas Market on Church Street.
