Alleged Offaly car wash offence sees man sent to Circuit Court

Accused is also charged with having a knife in Birr

Man sent forward to Tullamore Circuit Court

A MAN accused of offences in Birr last year has been ordered to appear before Tullamore Circuit Court in April.

Sylvester Paszkowski (27), Castle Mall, Birr, is alleged to have caused criminal damage at Diamond Car Wash, Railway Road, Birr on August 18 last and having a knife at St Brendan's Street, Birr on August 19 last.

A book of evidence was served on Mr Paszkowski at Tullamore District Court by Garda Stacey O'Brien and she told the court the DPP had directed he be sent forward to Tullamore Circuit Criminal Court sitting on April 14.

Judge Susan Fay sent the accused to the Circuit Court on that date.
