OFFALY influencer Rachel Gorry has announced her engagement to partner Adrien Kiernan.

The Walsh Island mother of five broke the news on her own Instagram page – which has 314,000 followers – by showing a picture of the happy couple with the all important ring.

Rachel, 35, summed up the occasion with the message: “A lifetime, with you.”

Earlier this year the influencer celebrated the arrival of twins Evie and Ryan with Adrien, siblings to the daughters Leah, Holly and Hannah she had with her late husband, Daniel Gorry.

The birth of the twins came almost five years after the tragic death of Daniel from oesophageal cancer when he was only 29.

Her new fiance Adrian 'Eddie' Kiernan is a proud Walsh Island GAA clubman who Rachel got to know in the local village hostelry, Hoppers.

Rachel's family moved to Walsh Island from Dublin when she was just 12 and she attended secondary school at Colaiste Iosagain in Portarlington.

Rachel's keen eye for style was noticed when she worked at local business Noelle Interiors and when she developed her own Instagram page it took off and she hasn't looked back since.

She recently designed a line of jewellery for the Lynott brand and her 28 pieces are for sale in the Dublin and Cork Brown Thomas stores.
