Tullamore Tractor Run has raised a massive €480,000 for local charities down the years

AN annual staple of the Christmas season is Tullamore returns yet again this year on Sunday, December 28.

The ever popular Tullamore Tractor Run will raise funds for Dochas – the Offaly Cancer Support Group.

The run was officially launched on Sunday afternoon last outside Dochas' headquarter in Offaly St in Tullamore.

This is the 18th annual tractor run and to date a massive €480,000 has been raised for worthy local causes.

The entry fee for particapting vehicles is €25 and you can register online at tullamoretractorrun.com

Vintage and classic tractors, cars, trucks and motor cycles will assemble on the morning of the run at 10am in Market Square, Tullamore.

The truck assembly point is the old Coen's yard on Church Road in Tullamore.

The route is Harbour St, William St, High St, left to Clonminch, Derrybeg, Derryclure, left in Killeigh towards Newtown, left at Ballina Cross and back to Tullamore.

A great family gathering and morning outing is promised for all.
