Accused of stealing jewellery and duping woman to pay for Offaly paint job

Man sent forward to Circuit Court after book of evidence served

Man appeared at Tullamore District Court

A MAN who has been alleged to have stolen jewellery is also accused of false misrepresentation by inducing a woman to pay him for painting jobs.

Martin Wall (22), Glasnarget, Rathdrum, Co Wicklow appeared before Tullamore District Court where a book of evidence was served on him by Garda Stacey O'Brien.

Judge Andrew Cody sent Mr Wall forward to Tullamore Circuit Court where he is scheduled to appear on January 13 next.

Mr Wall is accused of stealing jewellery consisting of four rings, valued at €8,050, and €150 cash from a property in Edenderry town on June 26 last.

The man is also alleged to have dishonestly by deception, induce the owner of the jewellery to pay €500 in advance for painting jobs by false representation with the intention of making gain for himself or another.
