Accessible Counselling (ACT) has postponed the James O’Connor Memorial Walk – due to take place on this Friday - in the interest of public safety due to adverse weather. The event will now take place on Friday, October 17. All planned activities will go ahead on the new date.

“Safety comes first,” said Lisa O’Connor, ACT co-founder and Operations Manager. “We know how much this walk means to our community and to everyone who loved James. We’re grateful for your understanding and we hope you’ll join us on 17th October to walk together in his memory.”

The Memorial Walk brings families, friends, and supporters together to celebrate James’s legacy and to raise awareness of accessible, affordable counselling in the Midlands. On the rescheduled date, attendees can still look forward to a welcoming community atmosphere with live music, food and drink trucks, face painting, goody bags for kids, and special furry guests from Hilltop Alpacas.
