A detached four bedroom home in Offaly that is described as requiring refurbishment sold for over €100,000 over the guide price when it went up for sale at an online auction on Thursday. Located at Derrinclare, Shinrone, and described as requiring refurbishment, it was listed with a guide price of €150,000. However bidding opened at €230,000 and over the course of 12 minutes, two determined bidders drove the final selling price up to €252,000, over €100,000 over the guide price.
