Several windows were smashed during a number of disturbances on Main Street, Birr between Wednesday August 20 and Saturday August 23.
During the disturbances all of the windows of a car parked on the street were broken and a number of windows of a nearby house were also smashed.
“Between Wednesday and Saturday we had to respond to a number of calls,” a Garda spokesperson said. “The house and the car incidents are interlinked. There are a number of people involved.”
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to contact them 057 91 69710 or 057 91 20016. Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
