Philip O'Brien and the team at the Tullamore Court Hotel prepare for the show
THE Jordan F1 Models & Memorabilia Show, taking place in the awesome surroundings of the Tullamore Court Hotel on September 6, will be a gathering of people still buzzing from the creation of the first Jordan F1 car.
It will be a celebration of the life, work and achievements of the founder Irish man, Eddie Jordan who began with circuit racing and dabbled in a few rallys.
Eddie is best known for doing the unthinkable against all the odds; he built a F1 Team, an Irish Formula One team.
He crossed all the bridges, jumped through all the hoops to walk on to the fast lane in F1 and he did it his way and all to the surprise of the professional established teams, all due to his wheeling dealing nature.
He revelled in the challenges and achieved his goals many times over from thinking outside the box.
How many deals were done to get that car to the start line of its first race in that GREEN Irish car, the 191 7 Up car, the car that won the hearts and minds of Irish people all over the world.

Following the models and wall to wall mix of memorabilia and the EJ11 plus others the evening will be followed by a Gala Dinner with videos of events, accidents and success with podium finishes .
This day and evening will be a magnet for photographers, memorabilia hunters and model collectors as well as autograph collectors.

Of course beating the ban on tobacco advertising and nobody did it with as much controversy as Jordan.
"There will be drivers names like Schumacher, Hill, Fischella, Alasi, more and more. Also comments on Eddie's time managing drivers and he allowing them their first opportunity in F1, his time as a commentator . . . you could say Eddie did it all."
"All and all this is a fitting tribute to an Irishman who achieved so much, a hero that so many have been robbed of the opportunity to attend his funeral and a grave in his native country to visit, don’t miss this weekend make it a final salute to Fast Eddie," outlined Mr O'Brien.
