Aerial photos over Laois of the Electric Picnic taken from the Garda helicopter reveal the vast scale of the event which drew 80,000 people to Stradbally for three days of revelry. Besides the area covered by the festival action, thousands of acres of land were needed for car parking and camping in and around Stradbally. This is why you clocked up far more than 10,000 steps a day during Electric Picnic.
