'An elegant celebration' - Come join Offaly’s Longest Vintage Afternoon Tea Table in iconic setting

The County Arms in Birr is set to host a truly unforgettable event during Birr Vintage Week 2025 – Offaly’s Longest Vintage Afternoon Tea Table – an elegant celebration of community, and summer joy, all in support of a meaningful local cause.

On Wednesday, August 6 from 12pm to 2pm, guests are invited to gather along the iconic tree-lined driveway of the County Arms for an afternoon steeped in timeless charm.

Attendees will enjoy a beautifully curated Vintage Afternoon Tea, featuring classic finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, delicate pastries, and sweet treats – all served on fine china with a flourish of old-world elegance.

To add a sparkling touch, bottomless Prosecco and Mimosas will be flowing throughout the afternoon – making it the perfect occasion to raise a glass to heritage, community spirit, and good company.

Part of the proceeds will help support the Birr Community Nursing Unit, contributing to the continued care and comfort of residents in our local community.
