Temperatures set to soar in coming days with Met Eireann forecasting summer blast
Temperatures in Ireland are set to soar as high as 25 degrees in the coming days with Met Éireann forecasting a sunny summer blast.
According to the latest Met Éireann weather forecast for Ireland, the weather will be warm with plenty of dry weather though there will be some showers at times.
According to the latest Met Éireann weather forecast, Wednesday will be dry, warm and sunny with just light southerly or variable breezes. Temperatures will widely climb to between 20 and 22 degrees, possibly reaching 23 or 24 degrees. However, it will be little cooler across Ulster with highs of 15 to 18 degrees; cloudier here too with some drizzle to the north of the province.
Wednesday night will be dry with long clear spells overnight as any lingering cloud and drizzle in the north clears away early in the night. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in light variable breezes, becoming southeasterly by morning.
According to the latest Met Éireann weather forecast, Thursday will be warm with long spells of sunshine. Some showers may develop, most likely for Atlantic coastal counties. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees generally, a little cooler near eastern facing coasts. Southeasterly winds will be mostly light or moderate but fresher near southwestern coasts.
Very mild overnight on Thursday with some showers, most likely for the western half of the country. Otherwise it will be dry with clear spells. Temperatures will not fall below 12 to 16 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly breezes.
