Offaly will be one of the four top seeds when the draw for the Tailteann Cup is made this Wednesday afternoon.

Offaly ended up in the Tailteann Cup after their Leinster Championship quarter final defeat at the hands of Meath in Navan. Offaly were in a strong position at half-time in that game before losing out as Meath mounted a comeback in the second-half.

The other three top seeds are Kildare, Westmeath and Fermanagh.

The four teams in Pot 2 are Laois, Limerick, Sligo and Wexford with Antrim, Leitrim, Wicklow and Carlow in Pot 3. The four teams in Pot 4 are Tipperary, Longford, London and Waterford.

The top two teams in each group qualify for the knock out stages as will the three best third placed teams and New York.

The first round of games is on the weekend of May 10 and May 11 where the top seeded team will host the third seeded team and the second seeded team will host the fourth seeded team.

On the weekend of May 17 & 18, the third seeded team will host the second seeded team while the fourth seeded team will host the top seeds.

The weekend of May 31 and June 1 with see the first and second seeds and the third and fourth seeds meet at neutral venues.

The draw will take place at 1.30pm on Wednesday, April 30 and will be broadcast live on GAA.ie and GAA YouTube channel.
