A three bedroom home in Offaly that was listed with a guide price of just €100,000 has sold for well above that at auction. Located at 7 Drumbane, Birr and with a private yard to the rear, the home went up for auction on line on Thursday. Two prospective buyers drove up the price and after a bidding battle, it eventually sold for €136,000.
